We’re unashamedly jumping on the bandwagon of the gin fever sweeping the region (and the world) – yet which oddly hasn’t yet made huge waves in Siem Reap – and declaring our love for botanicals. Baby Elephant’s monthly Gin Appreciation Society is a casual yet impassioned meeting of gin-lovers, allowing us to embark on a journey of discover together.
This month is extra special, as Annemarie will be joining us to showcase her exemplary work and mix up a fine selection of gin-based cocktails in our lush tropical garden environment. Annemarie is Cambodia’s premier mixologist, boasting a string of bar and hospitality industry accolades that she has racked up all the way from the United States to Southeast Asia. Le Boutier has made waves in Phnom Penh, and she is currently preparing to launch new cocktail bar Menaka right here in Siem Reap in April 2017 – one opening that we’re especially excited about!
This month’s Gin Appreciation Society event takes place at 7pm on Friday 24 March, with a special gin-based cocktail menu on offer, along with Khmer and international finger foods available for attendees. Our regular cocktail and wine list will also be available.
Hotel residents are welcome to join us, as well as visitors staying elsewhere, expats and locals – but numbers for the event are strictly limited, and reservations are essential. To secure your place, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
